Trellis Group LLC is committed to the principles of New Urbanism, which is reflected in the updated design for 1486 Tremont Street. The project has been redesigned by Hacin + Associates to utilize the site’s topography and enhance integration with abutting structures, improve the parking plan with only inside garage spaces, and to create a substantial increase in usable open space for the building’s residents. The project will provide more first floor retail space that will enhance the sidewalk life of Tremont Street. The architecture has been inspired by many of Mission Hill’s local buildings and is intended to complement the neighborhood.
We are proposing several changes to the currently approved project for the Clutch Works site that will take better advantage of the site’s topography, integrate more fully with the neighboring properties, and create a project that is consistent with the character of Tremont Street.
